Personalised news magazine Flipboard has been on Android smartphones for a while, but now it's on tablets too: just in time for a Christmas that's expected to be very big for seven-inch Android tablets. It's an action-adventure with beautiful pixel-art graphics, an excellent soundtrack, and a feeling of craft throughout. One of the most creative, inventive iOS games of recent memory comes to Android on its own, following a recent appearance in the Android Humble Bundle collection.
